Our research
NetMedia Lab (NML) is a research group in Simon Fraser University’s School of Computing Science. We combine artificial intelligence, multimedia systems, remote connectivity, and field experience to make ecological monitoring more timely, reliable, and accessible. Through SalmonVision, the lab builds intelligent, field-ready systems for wild salmon monitoring.
